Sedona Rock Climbing
Our Sedona, Arizona rock climbing tours depart around 8:30am, as we enjoy a backcountry drive up the Mogollon Rim and through the Coconino National Forest. We then transition from the desert into beautiful pine forest as we reach our rock climbing site nestled into a quiet limestone canyon with diverse vegetation, and safe, high quality featured stone.
After arriving at the site, our guides will provide a 30 minute ground school training before taking on the rock. The next six hours are spent rock climbing and enjoying the silence and solitude of this magnificent canyon. Climbs of all heights and difficulties are available to cater to all ability and comfort levels.
Some potential customers feel this may be too much time as they do not have the energy to climb for six straight hours. Please keep in mind that we are climbing outdoors and there are realities that will be part of the experience which differ greatly from what it is like to climb indoors. On this trip we hike into and out of a remote canyon. Additionally, guides must prepare each route by setting up anchors and ropes before clients can climb. The full day allows for natural rests, time to sit in an amazing place, to enjoy the silence, and to hike between climbs. It is truely an enjoyable day of being away from the city and getting involved in something fun, genuine and outdoors.
At the end of our adventure, we hike to the top of the canyon for excellent photo opportunities. We will return to Sedona, arriving back in the area around 5:00 pm. CenterFocus provides some of the best guide to client ratios in the state and our goal has been the same since 2008: to provide true, unique, high quality experiences that take you outside; experiences that you will remember for the rest of your life. OurTrip Advisor reviews and client testimonials speak for themselves.
